I’ve been going to Alice Place for my kids’ haircuts and had a lovely experience. She offers the first haircut free.she did it for my older son when he was one, and now for my younger son too. She is very patient with kids and does a great job. Highly recommend for kids!

Managed to book an appointment very last minute. Alice was really quick and efficient, only took 15 mins for cut, wash and blow dry. All for $60, definitely a decent price in Canberra, would go there for a haircut again!

Alice has been my hairdresser for many years now. She always listens to my needs and I leave her salon feeling like a film star. The atmosphere within the salon is fablous a relaxing get away from the pressures of work, especially with a head massage. I would definetely recommend Alice. She is awesome at what she does and she really cares about her clients. Alice, I hope you are styling me for many years as every colour and every cut is perfect.

I recently had a hair cut and colour with Alice . I have known her for years and previously trusted her. I was charged $420:00 for a cut I really hate and colour I really hate . The 2 comments/ requests I made of Alice at the beginning of this appointment were; I like the blonde highlights that remain . My hair needs to remain long enough to tie up for the gym. I have ended up with a matte grey colour all over and hair that can't be tied back . I researched the Australian legislation regarding the use of laser technology, and was horrified to find there are no standard regulations . I bring up Alice's new business of beauty, which she operates out of a room by her garage because overpriced hair services are funding her laser investments it would appear . I wouldn't trust anyone with any laser service, unless they were medically trained and I am beyond upset and disappointed with my bad haircut , colour and big big bill. It seems to me , Alice has a new plan to make money and provide no customer satisfaction or value for money .
