I’ve been getting PRF hair treatment here and honestly didn’t expect to see much change — but by my last session, the results were amazing! The new manager, Wendy, took progress photos and showed me the difference, and I was honestly shocked at how much improvement there was. Wendy is incredible — she explains everything clearly and makes you feel completely comfortable. And Nurse Teresa has been absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process. Both of them made every session such a positive experience. Highly recommend this place if you’re considering PRF for hair. The team truly knows what they’re doing and the results speak for themselves!

What an extremely disappointing experience. This clinic is staffed with nurses who lack professionalism, bed side manner, knowledge and basic interpersonal skills. The initial consult was done by Tia who seemed to actually have reasonable knowledge and experience which is why I felt reassured to go ahead with treatment. However, just a few weeks later she had resigned and the remaining staff with whom I interacted with and received treatment from over the next 6 months, had such surface level knowledge of the product they were using and the science behind the PRP/PGF procedures. Even when I requested more in depth information to be sent to me, such as a study/paper, all I was sent was a link to a random American clinic who offered similar services? They had no clinical information to prove the efficacy of the peptides, how they worked or how PRP/PGF results could be compared. Some of the nurses here have only ever worked in this clinic which means they have no prior experiences anywhere else and therefore have never acquired the appropriate patient interaction skills, ie. warmth, compassion and basic conversation. There is nothing wrong with new and inexperienced nurses as we have all been there (I myself am a nurse) but you cannot have a clinic that is run solely with junior, inexperienced staff who, on top of this are so awkward around their patients and each other. On several visits, the staff didn't even seem to interact with each other as a cohesive team. There's a level of tension within that clinic that is quite palpable amongst the staff and patients are not oblivious to this. A few times I witnessed them passing a mobile phone to one another as a form of communication. Whether it was for professional reasons or not, it's just not a good look in front of clients. On top of this, I have been asked to change the time of my appointment for three out of five appointments, usually a day or two prior to my appointment. This is so unprofessional and inconsiderate which only demonstrates further how disorganised and dysfunctional this place is. I've never experienced this before with any other business. I agree with a few of the other reviews here that point out the inaccuracy of online clinic photos. The Adelaide clinic is no where near the high end aesthetic they portray themselves to be on their website. All the photos online are from their interstate locations. The clinic in Adelaide was clearly a space that had been repurposed and appears to have been slightly modified but overall is a tired, underwhelming, lackluster space that cannot compare to the image HSS are selling themselves to be as a business. It almost feels like you've stepped into the 90s when you enter this clinic. On my last appointment, I was shown my before and after photos. I went through with this treatment with very little expectation as I am fully aware that results are variable and hair thinning is such a difficult condition to treat. I also understand hair grows at a very slow rate so I knew realistically I wouldn't see a huge difference in such a short period of time. What I didn't appreciate was the staff trying to convince me that there was a significant change. My issue is not that this treatment potentially did not work for me. My issue lies in the fact that they tried to convince me that there had been a considerable and noticeable change when realistically it can take up to 12 months to notice improvement. I'm also pretty certain that in my before photos, my hair was straightened and therefore sitting flatter to my scalp, whereas the after photos were taken in my natural curly/wavy state. So I don't think photos are a reliable method for proof of hair growth as you can comb the hair in such a way to prove your point either way. Honestly I'm just so glad my treatments are finished and I never have to come back here again.
