Today I went to this store I had been excited to visit for a long time. My expectations were exceeded!!! Ro, the owner is wonderful and helped me with every question I had, even showing me photos and samples of the products whenever possible. We ended up talking for quite a long time, and it was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the time I spent shopping there. I recommend the experience to anyone who likes Asian products. In addition to Korean and Japanese makeup, there are also many beautiful utensils and items for the home. I have been buying products from this store for 8 years , the owner is very passionate about her business and working very hard to source Japanese and Korea beauty products , products are genuinely imported from Japan and Korea. In Hobart is hard to get genuine and good quality Japanese and Korea beauty products . Owner has good knowledge on the products and always give good advice and recommendation when I am in doubt with the products that suits my skin and hair . I first came across JP Cosmetics by chance a couple of years ago. The owner immediately pointed out the issues with my skin and recommended a routine tailored to me. To be honest, I had very low expectations at the time. I have sensitive skin with ongoing issues, and I had tried many well known brands before with little to no improvement. However, after following her recommendations, my skin returned to a healthy and stable condition within about three months, which was truly amazing to me. After that, I started exploring makeup with her guidance. She helped me understand what suits me best, and I gradually became more confident in my appearance. She also offers many hard to find and limited edition products like eyeshadow palettes and lipsticks, and every recommendation is genuinely based on what works for you. There is never any pressure to buy. What impressed me the most is that even without meeting my mother in person, she is able to recommend shades and products that suit her perfectly. It really shows how professional and experienced she is. I even jokingly call her my “skin doctor”. I also truly appreciate the effort behind her business. Sourcing Japanese and Korean products is not easy. It often involves long waits, coordination with counters, and bringing everything back personally. Because of this, I always feel confident that the products are authentic and of high quality. Last Christmas, I bought chocolates from her as gifts for my colleagues, and everyone loved them. They kept asking where I got them from. She is a very kind and friendly person with deep knowledge of skincare and makeup. She explains products from both ingredient and professional perspectives to help you find what truly suits you. Her own skin is the best example of her expertise. I feel very lucky to have someone like her in Hobart, and I will continue to support her.
