Dr Champa made me wait 1 hour and 10 minutes past my appointment time because my file was opened and then closed immediately, resulting in patients who had appointments after me being seen first. Normally I would overlook a mistake like this, however I am currently pregnant and was left feeling very hungry and dizzy while waiting. Dr Champa also advised me that a nurse can do a blood test for me at 5:30pm, however when I checked with reception they informed me the nurse finishes at 4:30pm. Overall this was a very disappointing experience and I will not be returning.

Today I had an appointment with Dr Champa. It was the first time as regular that I saw her. Please don’t book with her. She is not empathetic at all! She was the worth doctor I have never seen in Sydney ! She didn’t even understand me and asked me no sense questions after I explained her my situation. We have been patients at Kellyville Medical Practice for over six years. What has happened over the past three months has led us to formally lodge complaints with Services Australia and the NSW Health Care Complaints Commission. In December 2025, the clinic incorrectly submitted a Medicare claim that should have been processed by our obstetrician. My wife paid $148 privately to the clinic to have the claim withdrawn. We were told the adjustment was submitted to Medicare in January 2026. In March 2026 we contacted Medicare directly and a supervisor confirmed they have received nothing from this clinic. This has blocked a $620 Medicare rebate from our obstetrician that my wife is entitled to. We are $620 out of pocket due solely to this clinic’s failure to do what they committed to. On 11 March 2026 the clinic sent us an email claiming Medicare required name verification before the adjustment could proceed. We called Medicare the same day. They confirmed no such requirement exists and they have received no correspondence from this clinic. This email was false. Over three months we have been given contradictory information by multiple reception staff, referred repeatedly to a staff member who was unavailable, and received a missed callback from a doctor. The level of incompetence and lack of accountability is extraordinary. This is not an isolated experience. On a separate occasion my wife brought her parents in for a whooping cough vaccine. When it came time to pay, the receptionist didn’t know the cost, went to check with the doctor, came back and said she forgot to ask, then guessed a figure and charged that. We have also consistently waited over an hour for appointments across six years. This practice is badly managed, the reception staff are undertrained, and patients are not treated with basic respect or competence. We have formally escalated this matter and will not be returning

If you value your time, go somewhere else. This might be the worst clinic in Kellyville. I understand that medical appointments sometimes takes longer (especially if you allow a family of four to be seen in the same timeslot as a single person), but leaving people in the dark for 45 minutes while the front desk ignores you sitting there, is simply unprofessional. There are plenty of other clinics in the Hills area that actually value their patients' time. Save yourself the frustration and book elsewhere.
