I went to see Dr Maiolo for a pregnancy related skin condition. She was very thorough in her process and was able to quickly and accurately make a diagnosis putting my mind at ease and reducing my stress at this crucial time. I can't thank her enough.

Extremely knowledgeable, walks you through step by step, and obviously extremely passionate. She goes that extra mile - i got another problem i didnt even realise i could get treated treated. Wouldn't go to any other dermatologist.

As I am expected to give further information regarding my experience, I would like to say, my expectation was not upto par. I went to see doctor with just one active pimple on my right cheek and itchy facial skin. Doctor prescribed me acnatac gel. I was just told I will get few pimples here and there but once I keep applying it will get better after 6-8 weeks. She didn’t take photo of my skin at first visit. I started applying gel. It affected my skin. Within a week I went to see her again as she invited me when I told her that I have got not just few but more pimples. She said it’s normal and on that visit she told me quote “your skin was fine” now onwards just apply on these pigmentations. That didn’t make sense if she thought that my skin looked okay why she prescribed me acnatac for the kind of skin I Had. Not only this, on that day I was charged 80$ . I got to know from my GP that when the treatment plan doesn’t work, and patient is there within a week to review treatment plan, doctor is not supposed to charge patient and conduct review for free. She then took photo of my skin on second visit when I already had pimples from using acntac gel. I still trusted her and kept applying. It didn’t suit my skin at all. I had breakouts and all. I reported immediately. They invited me for the follow up. I told them It has really affected my self esteem, my face looks different now and I really want to take 1 or 2 weeks before I trust the treatment process again and to see doctor. I even sent them pictures of my face. Her secretary then called me and said quote “Okay then you are discharged, and you need to bring new letter from you GP to see her again”. Didn’t make any sense why she was so rushing to discharge me? since then my skin has just got worst. I protect from heat and all. But, so many breakouts and burning. I have been skipping my social plans and everything due to sudden changes on my face. It has really affected my self-esteem. If doctor Corrine was honest and didn’t prescribed acnatac for the kind of skin I had, I wouldn’t have to go through this now. I everyday regret visiting clinic.
