I have been coming here as required for years, and I found doctors to be good to excellent. Male doctor I am currently seeing here is professional, proactive and kind, but will not give advice beyond his expertise.

Disappointing. Yesterday was the third time we have visited this clinic over the past few years.Upon arrival we were told one person was in front of us. The appointments are at 15min intervals. Whilst sitting opposite the 2 female reception staff we listened to their interaction with patients coming and going. I had to cringe at the way one of them spoke, referring to them as darling, dear, my love, love. Whilst friendly in our opinion as business owners we felt it did not come across as very professional. Nor did it when she was making calls cancelling patient appointments and then telling her colleague what the person had said. We ended up waiting over 40 minutes before the first of us was seen which was far longer than we had expected. Before the doctor even checked my skin he asked if I would be having treatment if he found something? It was a very odd thing to ask at the outset. He then stated he bulk billed. After he checked myself and my wife we went back to reception as he had advised my wife he noted something, and wanted to check it further in 3-4 weeks. Today I was called and asked to pay for yesterday. We were aware they had billing issues yesterday as one patient was told he would need to return today to make his payment, and a few others were told they would be called. No one who came in was advised before their appointment of the issues. When called today I pointed out that we had been told by the Dr. that he bulk billed. The lady advised that the clinic does not bulk bill. I asked to speak to the Dr. directly. She advised she would speak to him and call me back. When she called me back she advised that the Dr. did not recall saying what had been said, but had agreed to bulk bill on this occasion. This was somewhat strange given we had had a long conversation with him about medicare and how his relations could register for it when visiting under the reciprocal arrangements with the UK. I then asked her how it had been that when we arrived yesterday we heard several patients come out and be told they would be bulk billed. She then stated that it is down to the Dr. discretion, which was completely contradictory to what she had said only half an hour prior!. Overall. we have no complaints at all about the level of care taken during the checks, nor the friendliness of the Dr. but we have both been left feeling that we were being misled, even if inadvertently, and now since the calls today that they are not clear, concise or consistent with regards to their billing arrangements.

My mum went here for what was supposed to be a simple mole removal. She did everything she was told, yet within 24 hours both sites were badly infected and she ended up in hospital. We are shocked at how quickly this escalated. For something so routine, this should not be happening.
