What patients say
2.0The doctors are real experts in their field and most nurses are super lovely. BUT the dragons at the front desk are neither friendly nor efficient. Endless waits, both on the phone and in person. And to top it off, they STILL do not accept American Express while charging insane fees.
1.0I’ve never seen so many bad reviews on one company page. They seriously all need urgent training. Girl with the black ponytail on the front desk was so rude, giving attitude and being extremely sarcastic. I then waited 40 minutes to be seen, followed by absolutely no help or information from “Dr” Victoria Venning. She definitely didn’t know what to do or what she was talking about. I was giving her suggestions on what I should do while she said nothing. It definitely was a waste of $380 payment.
1.0Dismissive, unprofessional and medically gaslighting. I went to see Dr Nicole Seebacher for severe skin barrier failure (sandpaper texture on cheeks/0 oil production/rawness, nerve sensitivity) and complex heat triggered facial flushing. This was my first dermatologist appointment I have ever been to. Its got to be the most dismissive and unprofessional specialist appointment I have ever experienced in my life. I had a 2-month log of my skin journey tracking my routine/triggers, I wasnt even given the chance to present it. I was rushed through the consult so quickly I could not even bring up my documentation. The most frustrating part was the robotic nature of the appointment. Seriously, the doctor kept listing generic triggers like sun exposure, alcohol, spicy foods, hot showers, genetics etc. Every time she named one, I explicitly explained why it didnt apply to me (I work night shifts so I am not in the sun, I dont drink alcohol, I eat spicy food and my face is completely fine, no one in my family has ‘eczema’ or ‘psoriasis’ as she claimed, shower temperature does not affect me, my gut bacteria is great I had previous tests done (mind you I had to let her know I went to that extent to test for gut health issues which is sometimes a contributing factor to skin health), I also had informed her I have a hygrometer to measure relative humidity in my home environment but she just talked over me and kept going down her list as if I had not said a word. I actually had to ask, “okay so from your clinical observation, what do you reckon it could be? and her response was, “it could be so many things”, as an excuse to avoid looking at the specific evidence I was trying to give her. Tried to blame my symptoms on the winter seasoning, completely ignoring the fact that these are chronic issues I have been dealing with for a long time and meticulously tracking for months with photos and notes. It was just another way to dismiss my actual history in favour of generic, seasonal excuses. Instead of a real assessment, she performed a 10 second scan with a dermatoscope but failed to communicate any findings or address my physical sandpaper texture I specifically asked about and handed me a generic script for doxycycline a drug known for photosensitivity, which is the last thing my raw cheeks need and on top of that she prescribed the exact same thing my GP literally offered to prescribe me? I have no idea what I actually paid for? Please save yourself the money, time, resources and energy there was 0 personalised tailored care whatsoever. A specialist is paid for their diagnostic opinion. I walked out without even receiving a formal diagnosis, I was simply given a 'one size fits all' prescription for a condition she couldn't even name and wanted to refer me to do patch allergy tests. Luckily, I had a second opinion on hand and cancelled the allergy patch test. I have 0 allergies by the way. To top it all off in my appointment throughout discussion she condescendingly told me, “there is no cure if there was, id be a millionaire.” She said this before she had even bothered to provide a diagnosis or figure out what was actually happening with my skin. Never again lesson learnt.
1.0Went for my appointment today and have never experienced such a careless lack of reasoning, communication and problem solving in my life. The front desk staff, especially the one in charge needs to be sent for additional training. I presented today after confirming the week prior over the phone if my referral paperwork is all good for an annual checkup that was prompted by your clinic. Was informed that all documents currently held are good for the appointment. After wasting my time, fuel and money for parking to come in I was told no i cant do my appointment. Even when I came up with a solution to the problem your lead receptionist was just eager to say no. No matter what solution was presented your lead receptionist was just too eager to say no, no matter what. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism shown by your staff today, they have wasted my time and money (fuel, parking and work leave) and not being empathetic what so ever
1.0I made a booking, paid my deposit. The night before my appointment I had a fall and was admitted to hospital for emergency surgery. While I was being operated on my deposit was processed from my account. I enquired as to why "it is policy". Obviously policy without compassion. (NO STAR RATING)
