What patients say
5.0The reception staff are always friendly and welcoming at Treasury medical. I see Dr Anjte, she is the most wonderful GP, very thorough, knowledgeable and caring - I always feel heard and respected! Many of the other GPs are also fantastic, -and great with kids, my family and I are happy to see them at times when Dr Anjte isn’t available.
5.0Not had a bad experience here. Dr Noor is by far the best doc I have ever seen. She actually listens and doesn’t dismiss anything you say and on top of that the reception staff and practise nurse are awesome so it’s a win win!
5.0Treasury Medical is a very professional practice. The location in the Hobart CBD is very convenient to be able to fit a doctor appointment into a busy day. Jack on reception is excellent, and Dr Ken went above and beyond to make the very involved process of vaccinations for the whole family as painless (ha ha) as possible. Highly recommend.
5.0I was traveling from the U.S. and needed a minor but important medical treatment. They were able to see me the same day. Dr. Noor was very helpful and professional, and the nurse performed the treatment very effectively. Everyone involved was very friendly, and everything ran on time. Very much appreciated.
1.0Have now changed GP's as I was sick of not being able to get the full amount of script repeats per visit from Dr Noor. One months repeat was withheld which meant I had to return and pay another consult fee to get it. Doctor fees are high enough as it is, let alone having to pay for script repeats that should have been given in the original visit. I completed online forms recently to transfer my records to my new GP, Jordan River Health (bulk billing and lovely staff!) which they sent to Treasury Medical by email. Nearly 2 weeks later I rang Treasury Medical who said they hadn't received it. I was advised there was a $30 fee to transfer my files which I paid by ph that day. The next week I asked my new GP to email the forms again to Treasury Medical. Not long after I got an email from Treasury asking me to pay $30 to have my full records transferred. I rang them to advise I had already paid it. The receptionist advised she would email my full records to my new GP straight away. Not long after I got a call from my new GP advising that all they received from Treasury Medical was my immunisation details which could be sent for free, but I had paid $30 to have my FULL records sent across. Once again I rang Treasury Medical and advised the Receptionist what had happened and asked why my full record hadn't been sent. I was given some ridiculous answer which I didn't believe, being an admin person for over 30 years. I questioned again when my records would be sent but again got no answer, and therefore started to get annoyed with the receptionist and started asking more firmly about my records. I had paid $30 the week before and expected that my files should be sent through. The receptionist got flustered because I was asking for my files to go through immediately, and she started being rude and condescending to me. I mentioned that i'd been waiting for 2 weeks all up because for some reason they hadnt received the first email request. The receptionist smartly asked me to provide proof that it had even been sent the first time! I could not believe she was being that rude!! I told her my new GP had the proof as they had a "Sent" email request showing the date. The female receptionist then proceeded to yell at me and I actually asked her to stop speaking to me that way. I then asked to be put through to a Manager, and I was put through to Lyn who lovely. Explained everything to her and made a formal complaint. Only a matter of minutes after ending the call, my entire medical records were sent to my GP. I will never ever go back to this practice, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else either. Would give zero stars if I could. Even the sarcastic tonned reply to this review from the owner, who I believe to be Dr Scott Finlayson, shows what kind of business this is and how it's being ran. Good luck in keeping your patients if you continue to treat them with such disrespect. Very brave to behave in this manner considering there are bulk billing medical places now around Hobart for people to transfer to.
