I booked an appointment for eyebrow services and did not expect my acne to be commented on at all. Early in the appointment, the practitioner questioned an unrelated skin issue, which was extremely upsetting. I am already under the care of a dermatologist, and this is a personal medical matter that I did not want brought up—especially in a setting that’s supposed to feel relaxing and confidence-boosting. Regardless of intention, commenting on a client’s skin when it has nothing to do with the service is inappropriate and insensitive. It left me feeling uncomfortable and self-conscious for the rest of the day. I hope this is taken as feedback so future clients are treated with more awareness and respect.

The last time I visited Gisoo for my eyebrows I was left disappointed when she spent 4 minutes doing my eyebrows pulling and being quiet rough and then rushed me out the door like there was a fire. That is like a $450/hr appointment for an eyebrown thread? I discussed my disappointment with her then and gave her the benefit of the doubt after seeing her for years. But upon rebooking recently, she attempted to reschedule me 2 hours before my appointment asking me to come in another time and stating she has been trying to reach me (not true). So I give up. When is your time more important than mine Gisoo?
