I recently had back to back surgery in both my eyes with Dr Paul. I found Dr Paul to be very friendly, thorough and professional. We discussed the pros & cons of different IOL lenses and agreed on the very best latest generation 2025 hybrid multifocal toric lens for me. My dream was to have 20/20 vision without the need for any glasses or contact lenses after having worn them for so many years. I can confirm that on the overall, Dr Paul has made my dream come true ( I have better than 20/20 vision) and I cannot thank him and his team enough for this achievement. Right from the first contact I made over the phone upto the final outcome, the whole team at WA Laser Eye was very helpful, courteous, ready to answer numerous questions without any issue, making me feel very comfortable. Compared to the above 5 star experience, I had consulted one other shortlisted surgeon who wasnt very friendly, behaved in an arrogant manner at the appointment, and felt insulted when he was asked questions about lenses and surgery. His optometrist had also said that my vision would be 90% after surgery not 100%. The other shortlisted surgeon's practice had cancelled my initial appointment whilst I was in the process of obtaining a referral. I am so glad I chose WA Laser Eye Centre & Dr Paul. I would like to thank the whole team but specifically Anji & Shannon the Opthalmic Secretaries, Naomi the Optician for doing the initial assessment & AScans (twice to doublecheck the initial one and ensure perfection), Dr Sidney Lau the Anesthetist and Dr Paul for an excellent painless back to back surgery with minimal recovery time at Perth Eye Hospital. The team at Perth Eye Hospital were great too. I am ever so grateful to them all. Dr Paul is a legend.

I've just returned from my one month follow up appointment since I had LASIK vision correction and it has been absolutely fantastic! I was previously a contact wearer as I tended to get headaches from wearing glasses when using a computer and enjoy the freedom of not wearing glasses. It's now amazing to look up in the morning and see everything so clearly without having to poke yourself in the eye every morning and night. I also feel a lot less tired, and although my eyes are a little drier than previously, they are less dry than wearing contacts at night. Dr Paul was very thorough and professional throughout the whole process. Initially I couldn't believe how quick the assessment was and that I was scheduled in for a months time. The actual procedure itself was fast, well explained and completely painless aside from feeling as though I had a contact inside out in my eye for about 12 hours. After the plastic shields were removed I was very happy to hear that my vision had already improved to better than 20/20. There were, however, some minor drawbacks - for ~1-2 weeks white lights had a mild halo effect and during night time lights had a star bursting effect. These effects have largely disappeared and are completely worth the trade off in my opinion. All in all this has been a life changing experience for the better and if you are considering vision correction I'd strongly recommend seeing Dr Paul!

I had my eyes surgery by dr Paul 2 yrs ago & my eyes are still blurry & sore since then and I’ve to live with half eyes vision since & it is really affected lots of things in my life . Whatever Dr Paul has told me b4 & after surgery wasn’t true & he has damaged my eyes badly with his lasik . I am extremely disappointed with the result & I wished I didn’t come here as it was a horrible experiences & a nightmare every night in my life. What can you replace my eyes now Dr Paul ??? You should pay my compensation for damaged my eyes as I didn’t come to your clinic to get my eyes damaged & my health insurance have paid you big $$$ to make my eyes better , Not worst like this, It’s totally NOT fair tho … you should do the Right thing by your unfortunate client 😭😭😢
