Have left it a while to review as just been too mad. Had threadluft with a significant amount of threads, paying top dollar for what I thought was a top practitioner of aptos (as advertised). Went back for review but felt very dismissed, including being told that the ones in my chin and neck was normal that they were floating and wouldn't be anchored to anything. Left me questioning my instincts which were actually right, they should not have been floating. As well as the coil threads very visibly showing next to my mouth (again, told just to massage and that would go away). I ended up seeing a different surgeon who was quite horrified at the results and said he'd quite often corrected Dr hos work, specifically his overuse of coil threads incorrectly. And the ones floating under my chin and neck mist definitely SHOULD have been anchored, and not just relying on collagen formation. Wasted a ridiculous amount of money, but wasn't brave enough to seek refund, as had already left the office feeling like I was the one who had no idea.

I recently had an Aptos nose thread lift undertaken at this practice. The product is advertised to last around 2 years. This is specifically quoted on SWA’s website: “long lasting effect” and “lasts up to two years”. You’re also asked if you would be content with an improvement to your nose of around 50% to which I answered “yes”. Fast forward 5 months and my nose has gone back to almost normal plus a bump on the bridge from inserting too many threads. I went to see doctor Ho to have a chat and he was quite reactive and rude in conversation. He told me I was refusing to acknowledge the (highly minimal/non existent) results. I was calm and polite throughout the conversation but his tone and attitude made it difficult to remain positive. He kept mentioning that he is a doctor and I’m just refusing to see the results. He also said I should have just gotten surgery which I don’t want or need frankly - I just wanted a lift of the tip. I found this to be really rude. I told him that as a doctor, he should have a little more empathy toward the situation by being kinder and at the least offering a discount on a facial or something of the sort. He immediately jumped to say I was coming in for compensation purposes (which wasn’t my intention at all), I was just expressing that his lack of empathy as a doctor is disappointing and to be honest, demonstrates that $ is more important that his patients. He tried to show me my before and after photo but failed to specifically point out where my improvement was. He just kept saying “it’s improved” even though it wasn’t. He also said “we don’t advertise the product as lasting for up to two years” which contradicts what is on his website. I could go on and on about how bad my experience was but all in all, his reaction was more disappointing than the results.
