I had the most amazing experience getting my lips done with Annalise at The Beauty Collective. From the moment I walked in, she was so warm and accommodating, instantly making me feel comfortable and at ease. She took the time to explain everything in detail, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt 100% confident before starting. The actual treatment was honestly so much easier than I expected - barely any pain at all! And the results. I’m obsessed! My lips look so natural, balanced, hydrated and exactly what I wanted. As a man on the wrong side of the wrong side of 50… desperately trying to hold back the progress of time (and yes, with a touch of hyperbole) the ravages of aging - via the ostrich approach of avoiding mirrors, using soft lamp lighting and disabling the selfie camera on my phone…..I’m grateful to a friend who (gently) recommended that I visit The Beauty Collective. I must admit that the thought of being judged as "superficial"….or just the anxiety of feeling like an unshaven Neanderthal who got lost on his way an “all you can drink” Andrew Tate seminar as I entered the woman’s only domain of a clean, flower festooned office, decked out in soft calming white and beige decor - made me really uncomfortable. I imagined the lady at the front desk would take one look at me and call security. That, or worse - might just tell me that she’s sorry “but you’ve come 20 years too late…there’s nothing we can do”! Thankfully reality and my overblown fear couldn’t have been further apart. The moment I arrived I was warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Everything was explained simply and even my highly anxious mind didn’t detect the slightest smirk or furrowed brow when discussing my need to fix my smile and soften my furrowed brow. The staff were highly professional, while genuinely caring about how to achieve the best outcome for me…I couldn’t have been happier with the consultation or the procedure - and while I’ll have to wait a few weeks to see the full results - I’m hoping it wasn’t mere serendipity that after leaving an old women spoke a phrase that was music to my ears “excuse me young man” (she got a little antsy after that as I was blocking her walker or something, but I was too busy floating about at that stage to pay much attention). I gladly add my 5 star review to the growing collection. A recommendation without exception.
