What patients say
5.0My wife and myself have seen both Dr Michael and Dr Catherine Black and find them to be very knowledgeable, caring and efficient. We have had excellent results and good follow up. The reception and nursing staff always greet you with a smile and take great care in assisting. The surgery is always spotlessly clean and has a very comfortable feel. Plenty of parking close by. I would highly recommend Bay Dermatology.
5.0I went to Bayside for a few things. My feet. Dermatitis. A lump on my eye (which i had removed today) And the nurses are all lovely, polite and patient. The procedure went great. They coach you through the whole ordeal. Made me feel very comfortable. I see Doc K Kerkemeyer. Her bedside manner is absolutely nothing short of caring, kind and compassionate. I also attend Bayside 3 times a week for light therapy on my feet. Again the girls and Nurses are more than accommodating. Would absolutely recommend !!!
1.0My doctor recommended I see a dermatologist, called up and asked to be put on the cancellation list but was told that wasn’t an option and that they had a new dermatologist starting shortly. Had to wait two months and by the time I came in there was nothing they could do. Told me I should’ve come in sooner so a biopsy could have been done, paid around $260 for nothing, then got told to do blood tests I had done a month ago and told me I was probably deficient in vitamin c and that’s why there was an issue. I have a cup of orange juice a day and my vitamin c levels were at the top of the range. Complete waste of my time and money, took an hour to drive here, wish I had just not bothered.
1.0After a four month wait for an appointment with Dr. Michael Black, I was advised my appointment had changed to be with Dr Kerkemeyer as he is no longer taking new patients. 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time with Dr. Kerkemeyer I received an SMS that my appointment was cancelled due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’ & that I would be contacted to reschedule. Bay Dermatology did not reschedule the appointment they cancelled at short notice. I would not recommend this business if you value your health. There is no duty of care towards patients and no follow up.
1.0This is a very delayed review. I was referred to Bay Dermatologist about 1 year ago. Although I had attended my 1st appointment with the female Dermatologist, who was reasonably pleasant, I was happy with the results. I then made another appointment to see her. The receptionist rang approximately a couple of months prior to my next appointment, wanting to cancel my appointment, due to the female Dr being on sick leave. I then asked if I could see someone else or be referred to another Dermatologist. The receptionist did not want to help me at all. It was apparent that I had been completely dropped from the client list. I felt judged and extremely disappointed with this incident, and was forced to be referred to someone else, miles away from where I lived.
